  • Enjoy Sharon Meyer’s extraordinary new collection in gemstones and precious metals.

  • Chaos Contemporary Craft is proud to bring nationally renowned jewelry artist Heather Guidero to Columbus, Ohio. Please join us for this Trunk Show event to meet the artist and view her exquisite collection of contemporary jewelry.

Formally trained at RISD, Heather worked as a goldsmith for renowned jewelry company Reinstein/Ross in New York before returning to Providence, Rhode Island to launch her namesake collection in 2005. Her interest in using line to render drawings three-dimensionally results in unique explorations of volume, movement, and pattern that transform into personal and interactive sculpture on the body.

The graphic lines, textures, and patterns of her work are inspired by elements of modernist design, fashion, and urban architecture translated into ethically-sourced gold and silver. Select pieces are accented by brilliant diamonds or colorful gemstones. Innately wearable, Heather’s collection boldly accentuates your personal style, her considerations of natural movement enabling the jewelry to come alive when worn.

Her work has been featured at prominent museums and galleries across the country including the Museum of Modern Art (San Francisco, CA), DeNovo (Palo Alto, CA), and Jewelerswerk (Washington DC). Every piece in Heather’s collection is constructed and finished by hand in her Providence studio.

  • We are thrilled to introduce our representation of Galen Gibson-Cornell, an internationally recognized artist based in Philadelphia, PA.

Gibson-Cornell was born in Missouri and holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin. He was a Fulbright Fellow in Budapest, Hungary, at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where his cultural fascination with urban landscapes and ecosystems flourished. He has traveled the world to gather materials for his work, including Berlin, Germany; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Plovdiv, Bulgaria; Venice, Italy; and Novi Sad, Serbia.

Each piece from Gibson-Cornell is made from street posters, gleaned from the streets of major cities. Varying in scale, subject matter, and style, these posters are then taken back to his studio to be painstakingly sliced and woven together to create a mesmerizing new form.

Living somewhere between collage, painting, and fiber art, these works are a genre all their own.
